Why Microchip Your Pet?
From 2016 all dogs in the UK, by law, must be microchipped.
Microchipping your pet gives them the best chance of being identified and returned to you if they become lost or stolen. All animals can be microchipped, including cats, dogs and rabbits. A tiny microchip is inserted under the animal’s skin. This gives the pet their own unique code. The microchip can be scanned and matched to the owner’s contact details, which are kept on a database, such as the National PetLOG Database. Freya Louise - Animal Behaviourist, is our qualified microchipper who is available for bookings to microchip your companion animal. Discounts available for multiple bookings, please ask for details. |
